| I am once again honoured to extend an invitation to my peers and colleagues to attend InterAct 2012 - Manitoba's only emergency medical care conference!! Continuing our partnership with both Manitoba Health Emergency Medical Services Branch and the Paramedic Association of Manitoba, this year's committee has strived to build on the successes of 2011 while incorporating the feedback provided by our valued conference delegates. |

| Recognizing the importance of networking and that the building of professional relationships is key in not only the success of a conference, but to building solid, long-lasting personal and professional relationships, InterAct 2012 has incorporated several opportunities, including a buffet-style supper on Friday, October 26th, 2012. This complimentary meal for conference delegates, will allow for increased interaction among peers and time to casually visit the many vendors on the expanded trade floor |

| Thanks to InterAct's valued partnership with the Manitoba Health Emergency Medical Services Branch, we will once again be able to offer Alternative Route to Maintenance of License (ARML) credits at this year's conference. Building on the feedback surrounding the ARML credit program from InterAct 2011, this year's package will allow for greater flexibility & freedom for the conference delegate. |

| The EMS Awards Banquet committee has once again graciously entered into a partnership with InterAct 2012 and will honour recipients of the EMS Exemplary Service Medal at a banquet on Saturday, October 27th, 2012. This gala event will also include the awarding of 20-year service pins by the Paramedic Association of Manitoba. Tickets for this event are limited so I would encourage everyone to register for the conference and purchase your tickets early to avoid disappointment. |
